Token Optimiser is a product operated by Karo Data Consultancy London Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12855884.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Token Optimiser. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We do not currently verify age at sign-up. This is a stated policy, not an enforced or verified one — age verification is a planned future improvement, not a feature that exists today.

You sign in using an emailed magic link, or via Google or Facebook sign-in — Token Optimiser does not currently use or require account passwords. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address or third-party account used to sign in secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

Your account email address is whichever email your sign-in method verifies — it is not a separate field you can edit directly in your profile. To use a different email, sign in with that email (or a third-party account using it) instead.

Before you can use the service, you will be asked to complete a short onboarding step: provide your first name, last name, and choose a preferred AI model (all three required), with date of birth always optional. You must also affirmatively accept the current version of these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy before continuing — we record when you did this and which version of each document you accepted. If either document changes materially afterwards, you may be asked to accept the new version once before continuing to use the service.

Separately, during onboarding or at any time afterwards from Account settings, you can choose whether to receive marketing emails about product updates. That choice is entirely optional and is never a condition of creating an account, completing onboarding, or accepting these Terms — see our Privacy Policy for how this consent is recorded and how to withdraw it.

Token Optimiser analyses prompts you submit and produces an optimised version intended to reduce unnecessary token usage, along with information about token counts and estimated cost savings.

We do not guarantee:

• a specific percentage reduction in tokens for any given prompt;
• a specific monetary saving on any external AI provider bill;
• that an optimised prompt will produce better, equivalent, or otherwise improved AI output compared to your original prompt;
• compatibility with every AI model or provider, including ones we do not currently support;
• uninterrupted or error-free availability of the service.

Any monetary savings figure shown by Token Optimiser is an estimate only, calculated using a published, representative reference input-token rate for the AI model family you selected (not a live, negotiated, cached, batch, or regional rate, and not tied to any specific model version). Actual pricing charged by AI providers can differ from these reference rates, can change over time, and can vary by plan, region, or usage tier.

Token Optimiser does not guarantee that the amount shown will actually be saved on your external AI provider bill. The figure is provided for illustrative purposes to help you understand the relative effect of optimisation, not as a financial commitment or projection.

You remain responsible for:

• the content of any prompt you submit to the service;
• reviewing any optimised prompt before relying on it or using it elsewhere;
• deciding whether and how to use the optimised output;
• complying with applicable law, and with the terms of any third-party AI provider you separately choose to use the optimised prompt with.

We do not claim ownership of the prompts you submit or the optimised output produced for you. You grant us only the rights reasonably necessary to store, process, and display that content back to you as part of operating the service (for example, saving it to your prompt history) — see our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to abuse, disrupt, or attack the service (including its security controls);
• attempt to bypass usage quotas, rate limits, or access controls;
• interfere with other users' use of the service;
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party through your use of the service.

Token Optimiser currently displays Free, Pro, and Pro Max plan information, including indicative pricing, feature limits, and a monthly optimisation quota for the Free plan.

Payment processing is not yet implemented. There is currently no checkout, no automatic renewal, no billing history, and no cancellation portal — our choice of payment provider has not yet been finalised. Plan changes today can only be made administratively, not through a self-service payment flow.

Because of this, refund and cancellation terms are not yet established and are not stated in this document. This section will be finalised, with full payment, renewal, refund, and cancellation terms, once a payment provider is selected and checkout is implemented — this is a known, tracked gap, not an oversight.

The Token Optimiser software, branding, and the optimisation logic behind it belong to us or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

As set out in “Your prompts and content” above, you keep your rights in the prompts and content you submit.

We aim to keep the service available and to maintain and improve it over time, but we do not promise a specific uptime or service-level commitment. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the service, and may update these terms, from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we make material changes.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide the service on an “as available” basis and do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. We are not stating a specific liability cap in this document — appropriate liability wording (including whether any cap applies) is flagged for professional legal review rather than fabricated here.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you in the country where you live. Whether this clause needs adjustment for users outside the United Kingdom is flagged for professional legal review.
